My beloved spouse is the Rev. Michael W. Hopkins—a bi-vocational Episcopal priest. He is the priest-in-residence at the Church of the Redeemer in Addison and the executive director of the Finger Lakes SPCA in Bath.

Michael and I met during an Integrity/Washington meeting in 1992. We dated for a year before deciding to form a household together. In 2004, we had a lovely celebration and blessing of our relationship at our parish, St George's Glenn Dale, in the Episcopal Diocese of Washington. In 2010, we were civilly married on Prince Edward Island in Canada. We are very thankful that our marriage is now recognized everywhere in the United States.
